Goal

Fourth grade students will increase their knowledge of
Florida's unique geography, history and cultures, while increasing reading proficiency.

What will be done with my students

The fourth graders will have the opportunity to join various reading clubs to increase their reading proficiency. In clubs the students will read, share and discuss their knowledge, discoveries and wonderings about characters, big ideas, settings and events. The students will share their knowledge by having engaging discussions with their peers. The book clubs will run throughout the school year.
