Goal

Students will step back in time to learn about the American Revolution while writing about a famous person during the period.

What will be done with my students

Students will learn about the causes of the American Revolutionary War. As students learn, they will choose a famous person during this time period to do research. They will research the famous person and write their final story in a "Barebook". Then, they will then dress up and become the famous person during a Wax Museum displayed for the whole school to view.

Benefits to my students

Having the students write in their bare books will give them a sense of accomplishment and they will be able to cherish their book and learning for a lifetime.

Describe the Students
