Goal

To be able to get the supplies needed for my ESE students to collect, store and transport recycled materials to designated places.

What will be done with my students

Students will collect recycled materials from classrooms and copy room through out the school campus. Separate the material into paper, plastic, and metal bins. When bins are full, take those materials to the designated spots for transport.

Benefits to my students

Having rolling cans and flatbed carts will make it much easier for the students to transport the materials to the designated areas.
The students learn job skills, and the importance of helping the environment. Recycling is part of the students earth science curriculum as well.

Describe the Students

My class is a group of 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. The student's have various cognitive and physical disabilities. All my students have an intellectual disability and work best with modeling.
