Goal

Our goal for this grant is to provide the students of Carwise Middle School's inaugural drone club with drones and an activity field in which to fly the drones. Specifically for this grant, we are looking to fund our activity field which is $1000.00

What will be done with my students

Students will be able to navigate and compete with and against each other in an Aerial Drone Competition sanctioned environment that will prepare them for state-wide competitions in the future.

Benefits to my students

This activity field is an essential component to teach students how to operate their drones and how the drones function in various ways. The activity field will give students a better advantage when it comes to drone competition as they will be more familiarized with the field and able to produce better outcomes in competition.

Describe the Students

Club is open to all students attending Carwise Middle School but will most likely target those with an interest in STEM activities and careers.

Budget Narrative

The budget for this grant will go exclusively toward a field activity kit that will allow students to practice and compete on an officially sanctioned arena. The field activity kit is $1,000.00.
