Thank you to the following investor for funding this grant.
Tash Elwyn - $739.44
To supply my classroom with additional/new supplies to help carry us through to the end of the school year!
We will use these products to engage in various quality art lessons. We are in desperate need of some new paint brushes and glue sticks and need a healthy stock of them. We are also in need of Model Magic for our clay unit, and clay is the most expensive art supply there usually is. I also plan to utilize/experiment with Kwik Stix for many new art lessons as I have been told they are WONDERFUL for painting with students.
Students will have access to brand new supplies as well as new ones they have never used before.
Our school is 70% Hispanic/Latino, so we have many ESE/ESOL learners on campus. We are a Title I school as well, so student families are often low income and/or part of the free or reduced lunch program. They are so enthusiastic about coming to art, so I wish to give them better supplies to use!
All supplies will be used in accordance with the Pinellas County School's Elementary Art Curriculum for various painting/drawing, sculpture/ceramic, printmaking, and mixed media projects to be done with students.
