Goal

My goal is to increase proficiency in math standards by providing a multi-sensory approach to math intervention through using manipulatives to visualize, explore, and build.

What will be done with my students

In small group instruction models in both ESE and General Education, my students will utilize manipulatives to interact with the math standards to gain a concrete understanding of the standard using manipulatives.

Benefits to my students

A multi-sensory approach to learning impacts student learning in a positive way because it allows them to collect and interact with the information thus encouraging them to make connections to the content.

Describe the Students

All of my students are ESE students who are performing below expected proficiency in the area of Math.
