Goal

My goal is to update my classroom library with age-appropriate books that peak my students' interests. I hope to spark their interests in reading with several new series of books within my classroom library.

 

 

What will be done with my students

I did an interest survey with my students to find out what types of books they would like to see in the classroom library. I would love to add these books to create a classroom library that is functional for many years to come.  

 

Benefits to my students

The benefit for my students would be to have age-appropriate books that peak my students' interest in reading. I have hand selected these book series based on my students' feedback for what they want to read this school year. Many of these book series will update my classroom library to book students want to read and have shown interest in.

 

 

Describe the Students

My school is a Title One school in St. Petersburg, FL. My student body within my classroom is very diverse. I have a large ESE population within my classroom, as well as an ELL population. My reading range is from a Pre-K level to a fourth grade reading level.  

 

Budget Narrative

These books are for a variety of readers within my classroom. I appreciate your assistance in helping young readers find their love for reading!
