Goal
Enrich students' love of learning by offering the opportunity to learn more about their interests and potential career aspirations.
What will be done with my students
Students are asked to propose topics of personal interest such as Dance, Crime Scene Investigation, Dinosaurs, Origami, Baking, Pottery, and more. Then students are clustered together in a blended environment along with teachers to learn more about their chosen topic. This occurs for approximately one hour a day over a two-week period. Following this event, we host a Focus on Achievement Night, allowing the students to share with their parents what they have learned.
Benefits to my students
Cypress Woods Elementary’ s School Enrichment Model or Camp S.E.M. is a program unique to our school and is designed to foster a love of learning with students in Kindergarten thru 5th grades.
