Goal

My goal is to engage all my students and provide books for every child to practice their skills.

What will be done with my students

They will have books to practice skills on their level. Students will benefit from these resources year-round. Every time they successfully move to another level, they will get to practice a new skill in a book with those skills. This will allow them to grow quickly and build confidence.

Benefits to my students

Students will have decodable books that will allow for them to practice skills on their level. This is a need in first grade since they grow so much and so fast! They need books that allow them to practice these skills. This will allow quick growth and increased confidence.

Describe the Students

I have a mix of ESE, ESOL, low and high performers.

Budget Narrative

These books will be purchased thru JustRightReader for a first-grade classroom with varying levels of learners. They are all decodable books with skills they practice.
