Goal

It is our goal to visit NASA Kennedy Space Center & Mosi's Planetarium during our theme of Space and Innovations this school year. In order to go, we need to be able to get there. This grant would be able to offset the cost for our low socio -economic families for their children to be able to experience these rich learning experiences.

What will be done with my students

Scholars will have transportation to two destinations to give them an opportunity to connect with our classroom experiences to the real-world experience of our science world around us. Scholars will go to Mosi Planetarium, learning about our solar system and to NASA to learn about our space programs and see things up close and personal.

Benefits to my students

Scholars will benefit from making connections from the classroom to the world we live in. They will be exposed to careers in our science industry.

Describe the Students

My scholars are ESE ranging from low, average to high achievers all looking for a stimulus education to grow their minds and thinking skills.
