Goal
Our 2nd grade team would love to update our outdated classroom libraries with new books! We'd love to add culturally relevant texts, nonfiction texts and more. Each year we try to purchase some new books for our classrooms but we'd like to be able to complete a big update and get rid of our outdated materials.
What will be done with my students
Students will have a new classroom library to explore and read.
Benefits to my students
They would have access to new texts to for reading/writing.
Describe the Students
Our students are low income/free breakfast and lunch. We have a good mix of high and low learners. This includes many ESE students as well.
Budget Narrative
We would use the money to find many new, culturally relevant texts to add to our leveled libraries.
