Goal

The goal is to give students many opportunities to engage in hands-on activities that help them practice skills during learning centers.  

 

What will be done with my students

Students of all levels can participate in learning centers every day by using reading, writing, math, and science learning kits. They will be able to play different learning games individually and with others. While students are being engaged in learning centers, I will be able to give more support to small groups and one-on-one instruction. 

 

Benefits to my students

During learning centers, students of varying levels can participate in educational games that are geared toward what each child specifically needs. Students will have multiple opportunities to read, write, explore, and collaborate with others. These activities are a great way to help my students achieve 100% student success this school year.
Benefits: understanding and practicing comprehension skills, phonics, phonological awareness, math facts, creative writing, writing skills, and more! 

 

Describe the Students

I have an awesome group of second graders this school year! My class includes a mix of ESE, ESOL, gifted, low, average, and high performers.  

 

Budget Narrative

The budget will be used to purchase reading, writing, math, and science educational games.  

 

Items
