Goal

To provide students with latest equipment to ease the transition for the school to work program.

What will be done with my students

Students will have new manikins and equipment to learn new styles, compete in SkillsUSA and practice services required by the State of Florida.

Benefits to my students

Practicing skills that will be replicated in the salon during the learning process makes the transition for the students a smooth process. Taking quality equipment to SkillsUSA ensures that equipment failure does not prevent them from competing.

Describe the Students

Students that normally do not perform well in Academic courses normally excel in CTE classes. ESE students shine while performing techniques. High achievers complete quickly and move on to work in the industry.

Budget Narrative

These items are not funded by the program and are greatly needed for students to succeed.
