I’d like the students to take their writing seriously, so I think it is a worthwhile project. Plus, research on climate change would be an amazing opportunity for students to be aware of their footprints.

Goal

I’d like the students to take their writing seriously, so I think it is a worthwhile project. Plus, research on climate change would be an amazing opportunity for students to be aware of their footprints.

What will be done with my students

I am trying to get some funds to be able to “bind” some children’s books. Students will research environmental/climate concerns and write/illustrate a book about how people can help in our “Decisions that Matter” / “Making your voice Heard” units.
Students will create a bound children’s book which educates on climate change.

Benefits to my students

Students will try to convince others to do their part to help environmental concerns.
Students will proof-read and perform peer edits for Standards of Conventional English.
