Impact to My Classroom

# of Students Impacted: 50

It is our goal as classroom teachers to motivate an interest in science, technology engineering and math for our scholars. Instead of reading about these activities, scholars will enjoy an up close and personal hands-on experience leading them to Space related studies and STEM related careers.  The curriculum in 3rd grade studies how stars are different with a focus on the Sun. It is our team’s hope that the scholars will a gain greater knowledge from the space center tour activities and scholars will build a never-ending thirst for knowledge into the world of Space along with Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.  It is never too early to build momentum in our scholars.  The field trip is scheduled for May 22, 2019 and pictures will follow.
