Impact to My Classroom

# of Students Impacted: 23

This has made organizing and working so much easier for my students.  They are practicing notetaking skills, organizational skills, and planning skills.

Original Grant Overview

Goal

To obtain classroom supplies for my Gifted students who are unable to afford them.

What will be done with my students

I am looking to purchase 3 ring binders to use as portfolios for students, spiral notebooks for note-taking and assignments, glue sticks for projects, and 2 pocket folders with prongs for research.

Benefits to my students

These supplies will help ensure that every student in my class has an equitable chance at learning and being successful. These tools will also assist the students with skills such as organizing and note taking.

Describe the Students

My students are Gifted and attend a Title 1 school where all students receive free lunch and breakfast. Most are unable to purchase basic supplies for the classroom.

Budget Narrative

These materials are needed for data collecting, portfolios, projects, note taking, research, and class assignments.
