Impact to My Classroom

# of Students Impacted: 125

Recieving the funds from this grant has greatly impacted the success of our STEM program.  Our students were not only able to recreate and create unique designs on paper.  They were able to create real-life models to present at the STEM and Invention Convention.  This grant has opened their eyes to the possibilities that can come in the future.

Students that were shy coming into our STEM program have become more confident and outspoken.  More girls now want to become a part of the program.  They see that their ideas matter also and STEM is not just for boys.

 We have created solutions like:

1. Automatic door closers assisted with Rube Goldberg

2.  Poop Trap - It is a harness attached to a dog so that poop automatically goes into a bag.

3.  Teacher Assistant - A robot that can record your classroom to assist teachers in conferences with students that misbehave.

4.  Booster Seat that kept your drinks cold.

We are not just using the supplies for our program.  We are allowing other classes to use the supplies to assist them in STEM activities.  We are extending the branch that was given to us so that others may foster their creativity through STEM.  Thank you so much!
