Goal

To expand the Home-School Connection.
Materials purchased will support student as they work at home with their families. Backpacks will be set up for the students to take home on a rotating basis.

What will be done with my students

Student will be able to take the materials home to get additional support while interacting with family members as they review skills previously learned in the classroom.
They will increase their letter and sound knowledge as they play game. There are multi-sensory materials for active hands-on experiences for the students to support the Reading Foundation and Speaking and Listening Common Core Standards. Families will be encouraged to speak with their children in as they play the games to increase vocabulary.
Activities include a magnetic alphabet board, a magnet fishing game, Early Learning Folder games and headphones to support a reading program on the computer at home. Parents and Students can record their experiences in a Notebook.
