Goal

To assist with Science at an early STEM standard and hands-on Science. The students will be provided with material purchased with the grant funds to explore STEM experiments. Additionally, they will learn about the habitats of various animals, insects, aquatic animals and butterflies and how to protect their habitats.

What will be done with my students

The students will set-up an aquatic ecosystem , butterfly garden and a Science Center. They will be focusing the habitats of various animals, insects and butterflies and STEM experiences through hands-on materials provided by the grant in these areas. The students will be learning the importants of protecting the environment of various insects and butterflies, aquatic animals and insects.
The students will be noting their findings on wax boards and transferring information to a hardbound self published book.

Benefits to my students

The benefits of this hands-on Science experience will be life changing. These Little Learners will be able to pass their knowledge onto others throughout their lifetime.
Hands-on Science is a great way to capture these students at an early age.
They will be able to protect our Earth and the animals, insects and butterflies that depend on specific environment to survive.
They will learn what STEM means and try out all the different parts of STEM in the Science center.
