Goal

My goal is to buy food to have a Thanksgiving Dinner and Spring Feast for all 400 of my foods students. My picture shows what one of our feasts looks. like.

What will be done with my students

My students will make parts of a traditional Thanksgiving dinner in November and a Spring Feast in March. After preparing the food, we will enjoy eating it. Students will work together to learn many new recipes while practicing their math and reading skills.

Benefits to my students

Students will be practicing hands on skills. They will be using math and reading while following a recipe. Students learn to work together while following a recipe. They also problem solve so everyone helps.

Describe the Students

I have all types of students. I have at least one ESOL student in each class. All of my classes have grades 9-12, ESE, AP, Honors, and everything in between. Not only are they academically diverse, but socially as well. My classes are truly a melting pot.
