Goal

To provide AVID scholars with additional reflective journals for core subjects and ensure students have writing utensils and organizational tools that can be used during the 2016-2017 school year.  

 

What will be done with my students

AVID scholars will be using the materials purchased to maintain organized reflective journals for math, science and language arts as well as, participate in collaborative discussions and create take home projects.  

 

Benefits to my students

Scholars will acquire skills they can use to prepare them for college, career and life as well as, have materials they will need during the school year.  

 

Describe the Students

There are 64 students in the third grade. 13 Have a 504 or IEP and there are 5 ELL students.  

 

Budget Narrative

The composition notebooks will be used for core subjects. The charms and chains will be used to promote reading for all third graders.
