Goal

I would like to ask for the $100.00 for school supplies. Many of our students are homeless and are on free or reduced lunch and can't afford the basics for starting school.

What will be done with my students

Students will be given the supplies they needs to be successful in school.

Benefits to my students

The benefit will be better self esteem for the students when they have what the other students have for class and homework, better grades, and more credits earned which will ultimately lead to higher graduation rates.

Describe the Students

We were a title 1 school until it was taken away from us because only elementary schools could have that label. Most of our students are on free or reduced lunch or homeless. Many are ashamed that they don't have the supplies or that their parents don't have the money to get them. Many are embarrassed to ask but we make it known that we are very discreet and treat them with dignity when they come to us for supplies.

Budget Narrative

We would like to apply for the school supplies mentioned in the PCSB email sent to us. We really could use backpacks and thumb drives in addition if possible.
