Goal

I would like to be able to be the 'go to' teacher if my students are missing supplies.

What will be done with my students

My students will have access to school supplies when they are unable to get supplies on their own. Some teachers require very specific supplies that students are unable to purchase.

Benefits to my students

Students will feel prepared in class and will be ready to participate actively in their education. Having classroom supplies takes the worry off their minds when they would otherwise be distracted by being unprepared.

Describe the Students

I teach American Sign Language levels 1-4. I have ESE students, high performing students and low performing students all in the same room, at the same time. Dixie Hollins is 78% low socioeconomic students. Everyone is welcome in ASL.

Budget Narrative

I would like to have a stash of classroom supplies for students to access as needed. Classroom supplies will be ordered through the PCSB warehouse and purchased at the dollar-tree.
