Goal

Ensure a learning gain in mathematics for 100% of 6th grade students

What will be done with my students

To support incoming 6th graders not proficient in mathematics, our goal is to create a personalized learning center in the non-magnet grade level 6th grade mathematics classroom. Personalized learning tailors what, how, when and where students learn to students’ individual needs, skills and interests and enables them to take ownership of their learning. Personalized learning moves beyond a one-size-fits-all approach and allows students to work at their own pace.

Benefits to my students

By equipping this classroom with Dell Venue 11 devices, these students will have increased access to technology and the opportunity to engage in personalized learning activities.
