Benefits to my students

Girls will be identified for the program by school counselor, teacher and parent referrals as we seek to initially invite students needing to build self-esteem, academic/self-concept, social skills, and motivation. We believe this program will provide needed support for girls during this critical developmental period and foster an interested in a field (STEAM) in which women are underrepresented.

Overall ELMS has 396 students ranging from grades 6-8. We have students spanning on all levels and service students in ESE as well. The target group for this program will be our girls in all grade levels - currently there are only 145 girls enrolled.
