Goal

To have the proper equipment for all students to be challenged at their own individual levels in Physical Education class.

What will be done with my students

Students will have new equipment that will help in creating new units. It will also provide equipment that will greatly improve existing units. One example would be actual small goals for a soccer unit instead of cones.

Benefits to my students

The children receive the best Physical Education possible which in return gets them excited to participate in Physical Education. The goal is to create students who will be physically active for the rest of their lives.

Describe the Students

My students go to a title 1 school. There are high and low performers. We have three EBD units. There is a sizable population of ESL students.

Budget Narrative

$500 would go a long way in helping us create the P.E. program we are looking for. Some of the specific items we are hoping to purchase are goals that would be used to improve our soccer unit. Soft polo sticks would allow us to create a Polo/Field Hockey unit. Gator skin balls would allow us to play many different games that use those type of balls. Stacking cups would be used as a rainy day activity. Other small items we would purchase that would improve existing units would be things such as basketball nets, jump ropes, hula hoops.
