I would like to increase my students' learning by incorporating the use of technology in my daily lessons. In this age of technology, it is very important even as a preschooler to learn with the use of computers and IPads. It is easier for my kiddos to use IPads. I hope to expand their education with the use of IPad technology.

Goal

I would like to increase my students' learning by incorporating the use of technology in my daily lessons. In this age of technology, it is very important even as a preschooler to learn with the use of computers and IPads. It is easier for my kiddos to use IPads. I hope to expand their education with the use of IPad technology.

What will be done with my students

My plan is to teach a lesson, and then I will use the IPad to reinforce the lesson that was just taught. I have many special needs and non-verbal students who respond with visual lessons on the IPad. I believe this teaching technique will make a huge difference in the education of my ESE students, as well as, all of my students. My plan is to use the IPads in small groups to help those students who need the extra assistance.

Benefits to my students

The IPads will not only benefit my special needs students, but all my kiddos. In this day and age, technology plays a big part of their daily lives, I would love for them to get a head start on technology and their education. I will do whatever I can to make sure all of my children are learning and being successful. The benefit will be visual learning and a successful experience at their own rate.

Describe the Students

I teach a blended Pre-K class. I have ESE students as well as general education students. My class can have anywhere from 7-16 children, all performing at different levels. My ESE students consist of students that are non-verbal, children with Autism, children with Down's Syndrome, speech, language and developmental delays. It is difficult for these children to learn at the same rate as my typical students. It would be a blessing to have IPads in my classroom for my kiddos to be able to learn independently.
Thank you!

Budget Narrative

I would love to have several IPads, but will I take whatever I can get! I will need to purchase the cases to protect each IPAd as well.
Thank you so much for helping out my kiddos!
