Goal

Purchase skills laboratory equipment needed to best prepare students to confidently provide care to residents in the clinical setting.

What will be done with my students

Students will practice the required skills needed to prepare them for not only caring for residents in the clinical area, but also obtain certification in their respective areas of study. (Certified Nursing Assistant and Health Unit Coordinator)
Equipment will be used for students to practice and gain confidence in skills that will be required of them when employed as CNA's or HUC.

Benefits to my students

Students who leave the program with confidence in their ability to preform what is required of them will provide healthcare that the public deserves.

Describe the Students

There is a mix of students. I have a number of students with IEP's. Some student are ELA's.

Budget Narrative

I am in desperate need of equipment to simulate a nursing station. The course I am teaching, Health Unit Coordinator, is new to our school.
