Goal

My goal is to have the necessary materials for all of my students to be organized and prepared in the AVID way for the 2015-2016 school year.

What will be done with my students

AVID is brand new to our school this up coming year and it is a way for our students to become college ready. The students learn organizational skills as well as thinking about their future making the dream of attending college a reality.

Benefits to my students

Organization even at the elementary level is extremely beneficial. Each subject area is colored coded with a matching spiral and folder to help keep the students organized.

Describe the Students

Starkey Elementary is currently a title 1 school and my group of students will include all types of learners including ESE and ESOL students.

Budget Narrative

I am planning on purchasing the stated items from Walmart. Folders and spirals will be housed in binders for each student. The other items are for general classroom use, to be used by all.
