Goal

My goal is to assist families in purchasing school supplies, so each student can be ready and organized to work the AVID way on the very first day of school!

What will be done with my students

Students will use these supplies to get organized and have the supplies they need to be ready to learn each day. A student should not have to come to school nervour or upset because they do not have the supplies they need to be successful that day.

Benefits to my students

Our students will be AVID students this year. They will be focusing on an organizational system based around a color-coding system. This requires a specific supply list, as a color is assigned to each subject. If I can help families out with attaining those supplies, every student will benefit.

Describe the Students

We are a Title I school, and I have a very dynamic mix of students in my classroom.

Budget Narrative

I plan on using this grant to attain school supplies for my students, such as notebooks, folders, highlighters, markers and pens.
