Goal
My goal is to provide my students with flexible seating items that make school a comfortable and inviting place for each student.
What will be done with my students
Flexible seating will allow my students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them in their learning environment. My students will be afforded the opportunity to sit around the room at various points in the day to better engage their minds throughout our 7 hour days.
Benefits to my students
Have you ever had to sit still in a hard plastic chair for extended periods of time and still be able to focus and get your work done? As an adult, it can be uncomfortable, to say the least. For my 5th graders it is almost IMPOSSIBLE!
Many studies have been done showing that students who are allowed to choose where they sit, and with multiple seating options, are more focused and better able to learn and get their work done.
By funding this project, you will help me purchase various seating options for my students to make them want to come to school and learn in a comfortable environment!

The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices.
All of the supplies will be purchased from Lakeshore learning!!
