Goal

The goal for this project is that all students will have a shade area while working in our outdoor classroom. It will provide a shaded area for students that are reading books and students that are attending to our school garden.

What will be done with my students

This grant will allow students to relax and enjoy the outdoors as we move into some cooler months. They will be able to enjoy fresh air and shade with classmates during outdoor lessons. Our students enjoy being outside and we believe they will benefit from these shade cloths.

Benefits to my students

Students will benefit from this outdoor area with their classmates and teachers. Students spend so much of their day inside of a general classroom and we thing they would benefit from being outdoors a bit. The students already enjoy the area we have created but would love it more with some shade.

Budget Narrative

All of these supplies will allow us to have two beautiful shaded areas for our students to read and learn. All supplies will make this a stand alone area.
