Goal

What will be done with my students

Objectives: 1. Provide an opportunity for University High School students to showcase their digital photography skills and knowledge of art and design principles. 2. Encourage creativity and innovation in the use of raster and vector software applications. 3. Foster a sense of pride and accomplishment among students by recognizing and rewarding their artistic achievements.  

 

Benefits to my students

The University High School "Bits and Brushes" Digital Art Show represents an opportunity for our students to showcase their artistic abilities, technological proficiency, and understanding of digital photography and Adobe software that can lead directly to rewarding and productive careers in graphic design, digital media and more. By providing the necessary resources, we can ensure a successful and impactful event that celebrates and recognizes our students' achievements and embraces the talents of the entire student population who love to make amazing art in digital spaces.  

 

Budget Narrative

Budget Breakdown: 1. Printing Paper: The availability of high-quality printing paper is crucial to ensure the accurate representation of students' digital artworks. 2. Display Boards: Display boards play a vital role in presenting the digital artworks in a visually appealing manner. 3. Awards: Recognizing exceptional talent and effort is an integral part of fostering a positive learning environment. 4. Ballot Boxes: To ensure a fair and transparent selection process for the awards.

Color printing services will be provided pro bono by a local printing company.

Event promotion and organization services will be provided by CTE Digital Design students.
