Goal
Giving students a chance to produce real world projects and products.
What will be done with my students
Upper-level students will design a complete corporate package design that will set their brand apart from the competition. They will have their own distinct identity that should come through in everything they do. This includes the name of their business, their logo, font, and color pallets used in web design and marketing.
Students will then create a corporate identity package to include Brochures, Business cards, Letterheads, Catalogues, Stationary, Flyers, Printed advertisements, T-shirts, Posters, email templates and Presentation folders.
Benefits to my students
I believe that by exposing students to the business world while still in high school will prepare them for college in the arts and real world working as Graphic Designers, Illustrators, package designers, advertising designers, and many other careers.
In addition, Art Club can benefit from this Cricit machine by producing products which they can sell to raise funds to support Art club. They can buy canvases, paint, and other art supplies.
Teachers can benefit from this machine by making new displays for bulletin boards, displaying inspiring messages within their classrooms and hallways, and having more professional-looking signage around the building.
Budget Narrative
The possibilities of using a Cricut are endless. They can elevate teaching to next-level status. Cricut’s are also great for students because the blades are safe. There’s no risk of hurting your students while cutting out shapes or patterns.
