Goal
I am applying for this grant to help bring our science lessons to life and make science hands on for 3rd grade at our school!
What will be done with my students
In science, we will use the various materials to make our science lessons hands on. With a sun model, we can demonstrate the sun and it's light and gases. With the telescope, we can allow students to view the sky. With the waffle makes, students can see chemical change. With the tuning forks, we can hear and see how sound travels. With the crystal, students can see light energy. Lastly, the plant items will help make the plant unit fun by each student to grow a flower.
Benefits to my students
These items will help bring science alive and make the learning hands on and concrete for all of third grade!
