Goal

The goal of this project to to allow the students to make greater connections with the content by watching it come alive. This project will provide resource for many activities throughout the school year for all of my courses.  

What will be done with my students

My students will:
- create pillowcase interactive study guide using the pillowcases and fabric markers
- Create sock babies and design a family style using the socks, googly eyes, stuffing and fabric swatches
-Recreate an art project in one of the core studies in my AICE Psychology class using the buttons and copy paper and bulk glue
- The elephant will be used as a visual for the core study involving elephants.  

Benefits to my students

Students will have the content enriched for the following units and standards:
Psychology -SS.912.P.5.3 Describe the circadian rhythm and its relation to sleep.
-SS.912.P.5.4 Describe the sleep cycle.
-SS.912.P.5.5 Compare theories about the functions of sleep

Students will apply their knowledge of family styles by designing their own families creating sock children describing the family they have chosen.
