Goal
I would like to be able to purchase a class set (25 books) of ScienceSaurus books for my class. The book covers almost all of the standards that pertain to 5th grade. Some standards include SC.5.E.5.1, SC.5.E.5.2, and SC.E.5.3.
What will be done with my students
I will use the class set of books for whole group instruction as well as partner work. Students will use the book to research topics such as inner planets, outer planets, galaxies, moon phases, etc.
Benefits to my students
Students can read the text and refer to the pictures within the text to deepen their understanding of the standards. For example, they can read about each planet and compare them to each other using the text as well as the pictures.
