Original Grant Overview

Goal

The goal for this grant is to allow future educators the knowledge and experience in preparing and creating educational materials. A Cricut machine and laminator will be powerful teaching tools used in the Pine Ridge High School Pee-Wee Panther Preschool.

What will be done with my students

Students will use the Cricut to create individualized small group and center materials, scrapbook pages, bulletin boards and creative extension projects. The laminator will allow students to take those created projects and make them durable and effective resources for our preschoolers to learn with.
Students will use the Cricut to print letters, numbers, shapes, and objects in a variety of sizes and materials. As a result they will be able to create materials for their lesson with 3,4 and 5-year old’s. For example, letters and pictures printed and cut using the Cricut are then laminated used for hands-on literacy games and activities.

Benefits to my students

These tools will allow my students to efficiently create educational materials as they gain knowledge and the hands-on experience to become future educators.
