Impact to My Classroom

# of Students Impacted: 35

Students had a wonderful time exploring all of these new play items.  It was a wonderful step for diversity and inclusion in our school.  Several of our students learned to say names of farm animals and others found joy in building new creations, other still found comfort in the different textures and the challenges of the stepping stones.  These items really opened up new possibilities for games, music making, and collaborations between students, paraprofessionals, and teachers in special area and beyond.  Students also learned about different jobs, how roads and traffic work, and what animals live in different environments.  The pictures speak for themselves!
