Goal

To purchase all 15 hardcover books of the winning titles in this years Sunshine State Young Readers Association for our school library.

What will be done with my students

We have a book club that students may join and try to
read all 15 titles. They will create projects about each book and enter the County SSYRA contest as well as participate in a Book Quiz Bowl. We also have a program for all 3rd through 5th grade students to read the books and be able to participate in fun activities if they read 5, 10 or all 15 of the books.

Benefits to my students

This encourages the students to read a variety of
books that they might not have chosen normally and
to feel a sense of accomplishment. It also enables
them to read books with groups of their friends and be able to talk about the books.

Budget Narrative

The cost for each book is $13.59 which includes free
shipping and cataloging with barcodes so that we may
enter them into our computer for student check out.
