Impact to My Classroom

# of Students Impacted: 120

Our Holiday STEM Projects were a blast! We had so much fun building our Pumpkin Towers while also learning about gravity, weight distribution and engineering.  We still have many other projects left to do this year. WIth you help we will have exciting projects to look forward to over the next few months.Thank you for your donation! 

 

 

Original Grant Overview

Goal

The goal of this project is to provide my students with challenges that will engage and teach them 4th grade science standards. Not only will these STEM projects be FUN, they will also prepare students with the experience of solving real-world projects that prepare them for future jobs.  

 

What will be done with my students

Students will use various supplies to plan, research, design, and engineer various holiday related STEM Projects.
 

 

Benefits to my students

Students will benefit from these projects because they will be actively engaged while also learning planning, problem solving and and cooperative techniques. These hands-on experiences will make a positive impact on their daily learning and social skills.

The budget will allow me to purchase the materials that my students will need to engineer their STEM projects.
