The goal of the activities is to reach all types of learners, visual, kinesthetic, or lingual, to have their interest piqued in the sciences that affect each of them the most - their bodies. If students can see how the science affects them they are more eager to learn.

Goal

The goal of the activities is to reach all types of learners, visual, kinesthetic, or lingual, to have their interest piqued in the sciences that affect each of them the most - their bodies. If students can see how the science affects them they are more eager to learn.

What will be done with my students

These activities will provide students with hands-on scenarios and labs. These will add techniques to teaching other than note-taking and reading. To be able to do some of the things they read about gives the concept a huge dose of reality, allowing them to see how their bodies work.

Benefits to my students

Applying concepts allows students to have experiences they can connect with. It brings that concept to life and they can see how it is used and why it is important to learn it. In the fields of human body sciences, students must learn how their body works and how to take care of it for the rest of their lives.

Budget Narrative

These items will allow us to conduct these classes as project based, meaning the students will learn primarily by doing rather than listening or reading.
