Goal

To promote creativity, problem solving, and self expression, in grades 3-5, through the arts. 

 

What will be done with my students

Students will use sketch books to jot down ideas, write personal thoughts, and plan ahead for a larger project. Students will learn the elements of art. 

 

Benefits to my students

The school art program will encourage problem solving, creative thinking, and self expression 

 

Budget Narrative

$207.96 for 680 (170 X 4) 48 Pages, 4.25” X 5.5”, Brown Individual Sketch Books for students to use to plan, create, and journal. $203.96 for 720 (180 X 4) Charcoal Pencils for Drawing. Set includes Soft, Medium, and Hard Charcoal Pencils for Beginners Artists, shading, and sketching in sketch books. $21.15 and $52.01 for visual aids to be used in teaching color theory.
