To receive 60 copies of "The Devil's Arithmetic" novels to teach my classes

What will be done with my students

This novel will be the focus of a literature unit toward the end of the year.

Benefits to my students

It is more important than ever for the lessons of the Holocaust to be passed on to our young people. They must learn that prejudice which may germinate as a tiny seed such as a disparaging remark or joke can evolve into hatred that can cause human beings to become murderers of the “others”, those who are different from them.
