Goal

New music stands will replace old music stands that are damaged beyond repair (dented and bent).

What will be done with my students

Students will be able to use good quality music stands that will be reliable in holding their music when they play recorder and other instruments. Every student at Emma Love Hardee Elementary attends music class on a weekly basis and learns recorder and other classroom instruments.

Benefits to my students

This will benefit every single student at Emma Love Hardee Elementary. Not only will they have the benefit of using good quality music stands during their music class, but they will take pride in their work as well. This will also benefit the after school band that I teach that currently has 20 students who learn trumpet, clarinet, alto saxophone, and flute. Students gain a sense of pride when they have access to and are able to use reliable and quality equipment.

Budget Narrative

The requested budget of $1,000 will purchase 22 Manhasset M48 music stands. Each music stand costs $44.71.
