Goal

The goal of this grant is to obtain new music stands to enrich the Fernandina Beach High School Band programs.  

What will be done with my students

The Fernandina Beach High School band programs would greatly benefit from new music stands. The music stands that our programs currently use are barely functional and antiquated. All of our award winning band programs at Fernandina Beach High School would benefit from the use of this grant. 

Benefits to my students

New music stands can hold their sheet music while playing their instruments, without worry of their sheet music shifting, bunching up or falling off the music stands while learning music and while playing. Students will therefore have more time to actually be focused on their music. New music stands would greatly enhance the classroom experience for our band programs, as well as allowing the students to be better prepared when playing for school or community events. 

Budget Narrative

Thank you for considering FBHS band programs for this grant. The funds provided will go directly to the purchase of music stands.
