What will be done with my students

Students will use dry-erase boards and markers to solve math equations.

Benefits to my students

The majority of the students in my math classes have learning disabilities or are struggling learners. The benefit of these students using dry-erase boards and markers to solve their math problems is that it will increase their motivation to learn. These materials will allow me to give immediate feedback to the students by being able to easily see their work and responses whether in a whole group or small group setting. More importantly, the students love to use them because they are a different medium than the usual paper and pencil. This motivates them to learn and increases their success.

The items listed will be purchased from Office Depot at the following quantities and prices:

25 Personal Dry-erase Boards @ $14.99/ea = $374.75
8 packs Expo Dry-Erase Markers @ $22.99/ea = $183.92
25 Erasers @ 2.69/ea = $67.25

SUBTOTAL $625.92 less $62.59 (10% school discount) = $563.33 plus tax $39.43 =
