To purchase charging stations my students' laptops can be charged easily and consistently.
I teach at a Title 1 school that is over 80 years old. There are 5 outlets in my classroom and they are on in the front and on one side of the room. Because of this I am very limited in my abilities to charge laptops. I have 27 students per class and need charging stations so that I can charge the laptops easily, quickly and efficiently. My students lose time every time they go to get a laptop and it hasn't been charging.
If my laptops are charged, my students will have them available ready to go to work on the math iReady and also to use for science modules, research and to read science texts. My students love technology and our math program is designed to meet the needs of each individual students. I expect students to make at least a 30 point gain (1 years growth) in math on iReady and my lower students to make close to a 60 point gain. (2 years worth of growth)
"Cost if for 2 charging stations with 12 ports in each stations.
