What will be done with my students

I had the opportunity to try these out with 2nd and 3rd grade students during STEM Innovation Camp this Summer. With the 3Doodler pens students are only limited by their imaginations. This is very much a student-centered activity and it was great to see the ideas that students came up with. Jewelry, toys, houses and cars were favorite projects.

Benefits to my students

The 3Doodler pens provided a level of engagement was exciting to see. Learning became play. Exposure to 3D printing and it's applications open up a world of possibilities as far as future career paths. 3Doodlers are also very accessible across different learning levels.
From the 3Doodler website: "Accessible for classrooms of all sizes: Flexible for any K-8 educational setting. Storage pouches let you easily customize your kits for classroom and at home settings.
Ideal for STEM subjects: Builds creative confidence as students use art & design to learn about science, technology, engineering, and math.
Real-world application relevancy: Using our Challenge Cards, students will design & build models of real-world mechanisms to better understand how they work."
