Goal

It is our goal to keep our students motivated and moving during their Physical Education classes. We aim to build relationships with our students through fitness while helping them develop the necessary skills to be successful in their future endeavors. The purpose of this grant is to replenish some of our equipment so we can continue to run a high quality PE program for our students for years to come. 

 

What will be done with my students

The equipment from this grant will be used to continue teaching high-level lessons to our students at Frontier Elementary School. We believe a well-rounded PE program helps to develop our kids both socially and physically. The equipment we have now is getting old and beginning to break down and we would like to replace it with newer equipment so we don’t have a drop off in what we’re teaching to our students.  

 

Benefits to my students

Having equipment in our program that aligns with our lessons allows us to continue introducing a variety of different sports and games to our students. This helps lay the important groundwork so our students can continue their fitness journey. This also keeps them on track to living a healthy life.  

 

Describe the Students

Our school is a Title 1 school which includes ESE students. I would say we are a middle of the road type school with both low and high performers. There isn't an effort issue at our school as I believe that all of our students want to succeed but some get more home support than others do. 

 

Budget Narrative

The items in this cart will allow us to replenish some of our PE equipment which will allow us to continue to run a high-quality PE program for our students for years to come.
